Cherry Tree

Turns out we have a cherry tree. I spent the best part of today in the yard. Did the mow and blow thing, then decided to work o a few of my planters around the yard. Pulled weeds, trimmed stuff and did a lot of dead heading on my beautiful roses. That's when I saw the fruit on the cherry tree. So excited. Will have to work on keeping the birds away. Next it was out to my horse, Smooch, to work on her level 1 Parelli skills. www.parelli.com She was great. I am working with a level 2 Parelli trainer, Staci, and it is helping me and my horse tremendously. 25 years ago I left the world of horses because I had a hard time with the training methods of most trainers in the western cutting and reining world. Submission and  harsh physical discipline was the style back then. I came back to horses because I missed them so and was ecstatic to see how much has changed. Pat Parelli is one of the guys that has changed the horse world forever. Enough said. Check out his website if you are interested! Now for some of Stephan's  2010 L" Aventure Rose(my personal favorite) www.aventurewine.com  which is 70% syrah and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Pairing it with Spanish Chorizo with Manchego and Marcona almonds! Great having a chef for a husband. Happy Memorial weekend.
